We are extremely excited to announce details of ‘A Christmas Celebration’ taking place at Winchester Cathedral on the evening of Thursday 7th December 2017, with headline readers David Tennant and Olivia Colman.

Timothy West CBE and Hugh Bonneville join the Broadchurch stars for what promises to be a wonderful celebration at the city’s magnificent cathedral which includes a performance from renowned soprano, Clare Rutter.

The evening, full of festive and magical performances, is raising funds for The Murray Parish Trust and Breast Cancer Haven.

“We are so lucky to have such big names supporting this event and we will be doing everything we can to ensure that this will be a night to remember to raise as much funds as possible for these two incredible local charities.” – Sarah Parish

Sally Taylor, BBC South Today presenter and chair of The Breast Cancer Haven Development Board says,
“Once again, we are extremely grateful for this generous support from our high-profile friends. We are delighted to be working closely with The Murray Parish Trust to deliver something very special for Winchester Cathedral this year.”

The full programme for the evening is to be finalised and the event will include an uplifting variety of performances, with contributors from Hampshire musical groups to include Winchester Cathedral Girl Choristers.
