Walkers came from far and wide on the 29th of April for a unique opportunity to view this season’s fabulous display of British Bluebells in the stunning private grounds of Holywell Estate in Swanmore, Hampshire.

By kind permission of the Earl and Countess of Clarendon, over 200 visitors enjoyed the ramble through historic woodland nestled in the South Downs National Park. The Bluebell Walk, organised by The Murray Parish Trust and Holywell House & Gardens, raised £1,579.65 for our #2MillionSteps appeal to build a new Children’s Emergency Department at Southampton University Hospital.

Sarah Parish (Actress and co-founder of the Trust) met many of the visitors whilst serving Tea and Coffee during the event alongside our wonderful volunteers. Families were able to take part in a Woodland Nature trail, place a wish on the ‘Wishing Tree’ and eat delicious food provided by the Broughton Buffalo on-site.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in this event and to all those who came along making it such a special day. It was lovely to meet so many of you and to see our social media feeds filled with a ‘sea of blue’ thanks to your spectacular photos. View Gallery below.

Special thanks to Bryonie and the team at Holywell Estate, all the fantastic volunteers and the superb Broughton Buffalo.
