Covid-19 Statement from The Murray Parish Trust

Impact on events

We understand that this is a very worrying time for us all and want to thank you for your ongoing support during this time.

Following the current government advice we have taken the following actions to ensure the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and staff which is our first priority so we do hope you can understand and support these decisions

Easter Egg Hunt at Highclere Castle – Saturday 18th April

This event is now postponed until Saturday 18th July where we will hold a Summer Garden Trail instead. Please be reassured that tickets purchased for the rescheduled event remain valid and Highclere Castle will reissue tickets to those who have already bought them in due course. We sincerely hope that it will be a lovely day out.

Please go to Highclere Castle for further information

Bluebell Walk at the Holywell Estate – Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April

We have taken the decision to cancel the Bluebell Walk. No plans have been made as yet for an alternative event.

We will automatically start processing refunds on Friday 27th March from 10am onwards. There is no need for you to do anything.

However, as one of just a few fundraising events held by The Murray Parish Trust the loss of this event will be an incredible blow to our iMRI Suite Appeal. If you would like to support our appeal by forgoing your refund please email [email protected] to let us know prior to Friday 27th March.

ABP Southampton Marathon – Sunday 26th April

ABP Southampton Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km all postponed to 21st June 2020.

Please CLICK HERE for information on the re-scheduling of this year’s event to 21st June including options for deferral to 2021, transferring places to Winchester Marathon or take on your challenge in virtual solo marathon.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the fantastic and dedicated teams at University Hospital Southampton and Southampton Children’s Hospital who work so incredibly hard and are facing extreme pressure with the ongoing situation. As a charity we are looking at ways to support their efforts at this time so watch this space for more updates.

To all our NHS services, Emergency Services & Healthcare workers across the entire country we are absolutely in awe of the tremendous work you are all doing.

We would also like to praise our local communities as we are seeing some wonderful organisations reaching out and mobilising to help others at this time.

Please take care and look after yourselves.

All our love – Team Murray Parish x
