This event is now postponed until Saturday 18th July where we will hold a Summer Garden Trail instead. Please be reassured that tickets purchased for the rescheduled event remain valid and Highclere Castle will reissue tickets to those who have already bought them in due course. We sincerely hope that it will be a lovely day out.
Please go to Highclere Castle for further information

Come and join us for a fun-filled family day out this Easter holiday at Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey).
Just like the Easter Trail, the Summer Trail will lead you through Highclere’s beautiful gardens in aid of the Murray Parish Trust. This extraordinary charity supports paediatric emergency medicine in Southampton hospital providing services across the South of England. With prizes for the children who take part and similar entertainments to our traditional Easter Trail, we are very much looking forward to seeing you. We hope that you will all enjoy following a trail through Highclere’s Gardens and Woodlands, finding clues en route and prizes at the end.
The Grounds and Gardens will be open from 10am until 3pm.
These are challenging times for all of us . We will reissue tickets to those who have already bought them in due course. Please be reassured that tickets purchased for the rescheduled event remain valid and we sincerely hope that it will be a lovely day out. There will be entertainment and food (from scones to sandwiches, ice cream to hot food, hot and cold drinks) available throughout the day.

Tickets and Information
The adult garden ticket is £7 per person (pre-booking essential) which gives access to the Summer Garden Trail, Gardens and Grounds, Tea Rooms and Gift Shop.
If you would like to visit the Castle and Egyptian exhibition you can upgrade your tickets on the day at Visitor Reception.
You will be asked on booking to confirm the number of children you are bringing with you so we know how many prizes to provide!
We ask each child to give a donation to our chosen charity on the day (suggested donation £5) when they collect their map for the Summer Trail on arrival.
We would like to thank our fantastic charity partners, Amiri Construction, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd and Murgitroyd who will all be helping us collect prizes for this event.
Huge thanks to the Earl & Countess of Carnarvon and the team at Highclere Castle for supporting The Murray Parish Trust at this and other events, including a special screening of the Downton Abbey Film in December and the Easter Egg Trail at Highclere in 2019.
