Hundreds of children joined us for an Easter Egg Trail at Highclere Castle on Easter Sunday, raising thousands for The Murray Parish Trust.
The sun shone all day, on 21st April 2019, as the children each followed a trail through the stunning grounds of the castle and then claimed their well deserved chocolate Easter Eggs!
Families enjoyed all sorts of activities throughout the day including the Easter Bonnet parade with some fabulously designed hats for the occasion. The Easter Bunny also joined in the fun with a surprise visit from some Star Wars Stormtroopes, Darth Vader and even a few Disney princesses.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we raised a grand total of £6652.47.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made the event truly memorable.
“What a wonderful day at Highclere Castle! Literally hundreds of children having the time of their lives. Feeling truly grateful!” – Sarah Parish
We would like to say thank you to Lord & Lady Carnarvon for their generosity in organising this event alongside the fabulous team at Highclere Castle.
We had fantastic support from Amiri Construction who collected Easter Egg donations from their customers and suppliers in the weeks leading up to the event.
Thank you also to The Meaningful Chocolate Company who donated Easter Eggs and Tesco Alresford and Aldi Winchester for their kind donations.
A huge thanks as always to our incredible team of volunteers who helped us on the day – we are so grateful for your support.

Lady Carnarvon writes beautifully about the founding of The Murray Parish Trust in her blog ‘The Yew Tree’. You can read it HERE.
