The UHS Emergency Department is taking part in London South’s Tough Mudder this year to raise money for the new children’s hospital at Southampton General.
A group of nurses, HCAs and doctors are braving the challenge on the 24th of September to complete the 10-12 mile Tough Mudder course where they will met by insane obstacles and have to overcome their fears of heights, cold water and more!
The new children’s hospital requires a large amount of funding to be built and the team in the Emergency Department strongly support this new development. It will provide children from all across the South coast with new and improved medical facilities and allow it all to be under one roof. We would really appreciate any donations towards this amazing cause so please donate generously. DONATE NOW
Earlier this year a group of Nurses from Southampton ED took on the Southampton Half Marathon to raise funds for this appeal. We have several charity places for the Southampton Full, Half or 10k races in April 2018. Fancy taking on a challenge for next year? Find out more and sign up HERE.
