Amy, at only five years old, decided to take on three running races over three consecutive weeks for The Murray Parish Trust last year. She completed junior races in the New Forest MarathonWinchester Half and Hursley 10k and raised a total of £582.75 with more donations coming in.

This incredible little girl is now looking for 5k races to take part in throughout 2018 – what an inspiration!

“Amy was born at 29 weeks and has suffered with lung disease since birth as a result. She has had multiple admissions to hospital but has overcome that and taken up running as a way to make her lungs stronger. She wants to be a champion one day but none of that would have been possible without the help of the hospital and all those who work there. Amy wants to give back and say thanks and inspire other sick children to overcome their difficulties.” Ciara Banks – Amy’s Mum.

All the team at The Murray Parish Trust are extremely proud of Amy and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to her and her family.
