On the evening of February 23rd, 2024, the Grosvenor Stockbridge opened its doors to host a spectacular black-tie event in support of The Murray Parish Trust. With the venue adorned in exquisite table flowers by Wild Bunch from Alresford, and the air filled with excitement and anticipation, 60 guests gathered for an evening dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children.

The event kicked off with a sparkling canapé reception, setting the tone for an evening of sophistication and generosity. Guests mingled and exchanged warm greetings, eager to show their support for The Murray Parish Trust’s mission to shape the future of children’s healthcare.

As the evening unfolded, attendees were treated to a sumptuous three-course meal and delicious wine, generously supplied by The Naked Grape from Alresford, complemented the culinary delights, creating a perfect symphony of flavours.

The Murray Parish Trust founders, Sarah Parish and Jim Murray, shared the charity’s remarkable journey over the past 10 years and their ambitious vision for the future, reaffirming their commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children across the region.

The generosity of the guests knew no bounds, as evidenced by the overwhelming success of the auction and donations. A very successful auction, coupled with a generous contribution towards charity ambassador Shadi Ganjavian-Connor’s upcoming climb of the Eiger this June, raised over £22,000 on the night. This incredible outpouring of support will enable us to continue our vital work and reach even more children in need.

A special thanks goes out to all those who attended, in particular to Will Shropshire, Simon Henderson and the dedicated team at The Grosvenor Stockbridge, for their unwavering support and commitment to the cause.

As the evening drew to a close, hearts were full, and spirits were lifted knowing that together, we have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children. The Murray Parish Trust Gala at Grosvenor Stockbridge was not just a celebration of generosity; it was a testament to the power of community coming together for a common purpose—to create a brighter future for our children.
