Jonathan Cranfield is taking on The Thames Path Challenge to raise money for The Murray Parish Trust’s #2MillionSteps appeal on 9th September 2017.

The 100k route follows England’s greatest river upstream from Putney Bridge, past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50k then on through wonderful scenery all the way to Henley.

“I decided to take on a challenge to raise money for a local charity and The Murray Parish Trust was top of my list. The Thames Path Challenge is a 100km walk, jog or run, following the Thames Path from Putney Bridge through to Henley-on-Thames – this year around 6,000 participants will be involved. I have previously completed the distance in over 26 hours, but this year I’m hoping to cross the finishing line in under 24 hours.”– Jonathan Cranfield

100k in under 24 hrs! You can DONATE HERE to support Jonathan and we wish him the best of luck!

Jonathan has already started his training by completing The Murray Parish Trust’s ‘Step Challenge’ at Blissfields Festival in July. We asked ‘How many steps can you take in just one minute?’ and Jonathan managed 177 which made him the Friday winner!
