“Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. has been a supporter of The Murray Parish Trust since 2018 and we couldn’t be prouder to continue our long-term partnership. By joining the Hares of Hampshire project, we hope to be an integral part in helping The Murray Parish Trust achieve their admirable goal of raising funds for the much-needed iMRI Suite at Southampton Children’s Hospital. Many of our UK workforce are based in the Southampton and surrounding areas, so it means a lot to us to be able to support a cause which is not only incredibly important, but part of our dedication to family and community. We can’t wait to see the incredible hare artworks bringing smiles to all those who will see them.”

For 10 weeks, Winchester and Southampton streets, parks and public spaces will be brought to life with an exhibition of magnificent hares. Each giant sculpture will be individually designed and beautifully created, showcasing the wealth of artistic talent the county has to offer – while positively contributing to the economic, cultural and social life of the area. The trail goes live in June 2022 and will help raise money to support children’s emergency services across the South of England including our latest appeal to fund a revolutionary iMRI Suite at Southampton Children’s Hospital. This will be the biggest art event that Winchester and Southampton have ever seen, creating a free, fun, family-friendly trail of discovery for everyone to enjoy whilst exploring our great cities. This is an opportunity for locals and visitors to be inspired, get creative and celebrate the history and culture of Hampshire. You can find out all about the trail at www.haresofhampshire.co.uk
In additon to Presenting Partner, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) are sponsoring the magnificent ‘Boxing Hares’, an 11.5 ft high bronze sculpture created by renowned sculpture Hamish Mackie. This flagship exhibit will be unveiled at the beginning of the Hares of Hampshire event and will be on display in all it’s glory outside Southampton Guildhall during the 10 week long trail.
