Young groups, singer-songwriters and choirs from Chichester Music Academy, Chichester College and local schools are taking to the stage in January for charity.

Organised by Ovation Music, a Chichester based charity which provides young musicians with a variety of performance opportunities and workshops, the event is supporting The Murray Parish Trust’s #2MillionSteps appeal which is raising £2 million towards the building of a brand new Paediatric Accident and Emergency Unit based at Southampton University Hospital.

The Ovation Rock Show will be held at Chichester Festival Theatre’s Minerva Theatre on 14th January 2017.

Two live shows (a Showcase at 2pm and the Main Show at 7pm) will see talented musicians from the area performing covers and original music in what promises to be a spectacular event. Plus an auction in aid of TMPT and a raffle in aid of Chichester based charity Tylers Trust.

The line-up so far for the first of this type of event at CFT’s Minerva Theatre include – Ovation Voices + Session Bands, Station 47, Cured Riot, Home Feels Foreign, Anna Foye, Immy Sleep, Millie Sleep, Callum Peyman, Matti Perry, Alicia Maple & Curfew with more to be confirmed.
