We enjoyed a fabulous evening courtesy of The Puppini Sisters yesterday.

After spending time with Sarah Parish on The Gaby Roslin Show at BBC Radio London last weekend, the girls had mentioned that they were performing locally this week and wanted to help with fundraising for The Murray Parish Trust.

We were fortunate enough to catch these incredible singers sound checking for the evening’s performance at The Concorde Club, Eastleigh and had a quick chat with them backstage just before they went on.

During their spectacular live show The Puppini Sisters spoke very fondly of meeting Sarah and urged the audience to donate to the charity to help raise the funds needed to build the new Children’s Accident & Emergency department at Southampton Hospital, as well as talking about our upcoming event, Rookwood Festival on 4 June this year.

Thanks to this and the generosity of the guests that evening we raised just over £220 for The Murray Parish Trust.

So it’s a huge thank you to The Puppini Sisters and The Concorde Club from all of us here.
