The annual Alresford Music Festival (AMF) has grown from modest beginnings in Perins School grounds to an award nominated national music festival – right at the heart of Alresford, Hampshire. Renowned for the quality and breadth of bands and musicians taking part and for the family friendly atmosphere, AMF has rightly earned an enviable reputation for being THE festival to be seen and play at early summer.
Ginormous Teddy Bears Picnic at Alresford Music Festival 2018
This year the festival takes place on the Saturday 9th of June and we are delighted to announce that they will be supporting The Murray Parish Trust with TWO Teddy Bears Picnics as part of our Ginormous Teddy Bears Picnic summer fundraising event.
The picnic sessions will be held at 12.30-1pm and 2-2.30pm and will include activities such as Pass The Parcel, Teddy Mask Making and a sing-a-long to the Teddy Bears Picnic song! Don’t forget to dress your Teddy Bears as there will be a Best dressed bear competition on the day!
Alresford Music Festival 2018
2018 will be the ninth AMF and is on a not-for-profit basis, organised entirely by local volunteers and money raised is given to charity. To date over £35,000 has been raised and shared with deserving good causes, community organisations and through its registered charity The AMF Foundation; music based charities… and that is particularly why the festival is so special to the Alresford and surrounding community.
Festival goers of all ages attend AMF from all over the UK not just the region. Alresford town gets involved with musical entertainment available in the pubs and restaurants on Friday evening with festival camping on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Tickets also available from the following outlets:
