Tracey Edwards is doing it all again at the Simplyhealth Great South Run this October to raise even more money for The Murray Parish Trust.
Taking on the 10 mile route for the second time for #2MillionSteps, Tracey will be joined by her son Jamie Funnell, Jamie’s girlfriend Ellie Golley, Tracey’s cousin Kelly Cover and her Mum, Sandie Edwards, carrying on the family theme from last year.
“The fast and flat course of the world’s leading 10 mile running event takes you through the iconic sights of Southsea and Portsmouth, including the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory, past Spinnaker Tower, and finishes on the seafront with beautiful views of the Isle of Wight.” – Great South Run

Tracey’s support of The Murray Parish Trust all started last year when Sarah Parish and James Murray (actors and co-founders of the Trust) gave a speech at her daughter Ruby’s school (Princes Mead). Tracey was so moved and inspired by their story and took on the Great South Run 2016 with Jamie and her daughter Ruby who was only 8 yrs old at the time!
Since then Tracey Edwards has been an incredible support to us in many ways including volunteering at our recent ‘Step Challenge’ at Blissfields where little Ruby held the leaderboard for a good while over the weekend only being beaten by 3 steps at the last minute.
