We are delighted to have been named charity partner for this year’s Wine Festival Winchester.

Wine Festival Winchester is an annual event in the Guildhall attracting over a thousand visitors to enjoy wine, food, masterclasses and more. The festival is the brainchild of local Masters of Wine and TV presenters Susie Barrie and Peter Richards, together with co-director Claire Quigley Ward.

It launched in 2014 and is now a celebrated annual event – each year the festival supports a different, locally based charity via a prize draw. This year, the organisers invited people to nominate potential partners, which led to a deluge of submissions.

The Murray Parish Trust is a fabulous cause that we’re delighted to work with and support,” said Peter Richards. “As in previous years, we will have plenty of fabulous prizes for festival goers to win – and we’d like to thank in advance those people and organisations who generously donate prizes and everyone who buys tickets at the event. We’d also like to thank everyone who took part in the nomination process – we not only have a worthy winner but also great ideas for future partners as a result.

Wine Festival Winchester 2016, took place from 25-26 November in the Guildhall.
We would like to say a huge thank you to organisers, festival goers and the volunteer team, who helped raise a fantastic £3,363 for our #2MillionSteps appeal.
