Thank you to everyone who came along to our Zoom into Christmas event. Who knew you could have so much fun at a virtual Christmas Party!
Hosted by Sarah Parish, Jim Murray and Alex Lewis and compèred by George Whitefield, the evening kicked off with some hilarious goldfish related magic from the wonderful Maximilian Somerset and a top tip for a joke to play on any of your friends who own an aquarium.
Sarah, Jim and Alex shared some unexpected and embarrassing stories and the lovely Ward Thomas sisters joined us to perform two beautiful songs. The Quiz ran throughout the evening and wasn’t easy!
Tamzin Outhwaite showed us how charades should be played and Hugh Bonneville asked us to guess the Christmas song from his almost impossible to guess rendition by humming! Amanda Holden gave us her version of The Generation Game’s conveyor belt and nearly lost a mince pie in the process! Luckily we had a professional mixologist on hand to help us make some cocktails and we were really impressed with everyone’s efforts.
The end of the evening ‘dance off’ began with a quick change for Sarah who transformed into an inflatable Santa and it was an absolute joy to see so many people joining in with their one of a kind dance moves, we really had an absolute blast and cannot thank you enough. Congratulations also to our auction winners who won a Day on Set with either Sarah or Jim!
It really was the best Christmas Party ever and we raised a fantastic £6,240 on the night for The Murray Parish Trust and The Alex Lewis Trust.
Huge thanks to everyone that came, all of our celebrity guests, Ward Thomas, magician Max Somerset, Chris our mixologist and George and Mikey from Sharky & George events. What a fantastic way to end the year!
